Here you will have the opportunity to view and purchase the work of one of America’s most famous western artists.
DAY 2 LARCHWOOD TO BRANSON, MO
We head south past farmlands, through Nebraska and into Missouri. Sit back, relax and enjoy the rolling hills, winding rivers and lakes as we enter the beautiful Ozark Mountains. En route to Branson we stop for dinner at Lambert’s Café, the home of ‘throwed rolls’ where their motto is “We hope you come hungry, leave full, and hopefully have a laugh or two!” Next door to Lamberts is Heather Hill Farms where time will be given to browse through their store which offers local cheeses and wines. Today’s journey ends in Branson, our home for the next five nights at the charming 3 Diamond Award Winning Clarion Hotel.
DAY 3 BRANSON, MO
We explore “Old Branson, the original town with “Dick’s Five & Dime” store and Branson Landing featuring specialty shops, dining and entertainment located on the waterfront of beautiful Lake Taneycomo. This afternoon we experience our first musical performance followed by another dynamic show this evening.
DAY 4 BRANSON AREA
We start our day with a high energy live musical performance followed by a scenic sightseeing tour of beautiful Table Rock Lake, and surrounding river systems. We stop at the College of the Ozarks one of the most unusual little liberal arts colleges in the country. It was founded in 1906 and charges its students no tuition. Every full-time student works at a campus job to help defray his or her expenses. Guided by a student of the college we will visit the Williams Memorial Chapel, Greenhouses, Mill, and the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen ending off with a tasty lunch at the Keeter Center. This evening you will be tapping your feet and humming along in your sea as we enjoy our next musical show.
DAY 5 BRANSON AREA
You are in for a real treat with a variety show to start our day followed by an afternoon at Silver Dollar City. It’s more than just an amusement park, it’s an experience that you won’t ever forget! Celebrate “An Old Time Christmas” amid the glow of dazzling lights, decorated trees, Broadway-style productions and a 5-story Christmas tree. Plus, a Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade featuring Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer. Newly added, 1.5 million more lights with the opening of Christmas In Midtown! The light spectacular brings the park's glowing total up to over 6 million lights; no wonder Travel Channel hailed it as "The Most Illuminated Park On Earth"!
DAY 6 BRANSON AREA
Today our last full day in Branson is yours to enjoy some “FREE TIME”. You may want to take in another show, cruise “The Strip” on your own or join your Tour Director for Outlet shopping. We conclude our stay in Branson this evening with an exciting all family musical performance!
DAY 7 BRANSON TO KANSAS CITY, MO
We bid farewell to our Branson friends and start our return journey. We stop in Springfield to visit the Bass Pro Shop the “Grandaddy” of all outdoor stores. Time for lunch and to explore their seven intricate aquariums, in-store-swamp with live alligators and turtles. After lunch we visit the Fantastic Caverns a unique attraction and America’s only ride through cave. Since you ride all of the way through, you experience the magnitude, the stillness, and the splendor of Fantastic Caverns while preserving its natural features. Follow the path of an ancient underground river where you will see thousands of cave formations that include stalactites and stalagmites, tiny soda straws, cave pearls, and massive columns.
DAY 8 KANSAS CITY TO LARCHWOOD, IA
